We will cast our gaze to the afflicted and they will be healed.
We will lay our hands on the possessed and they will be freed.
We will walk and the Kingdom of Heaven will rise around us.
Though chains will pull and whispers will beckon us to the darkness.
The Lord and His light will free us, guide us down the path surrounded in his righteousness.
For a revival is upon us.

-The Heart of The Community

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the brokenhearted, for the aimlessly searching,
For those that run endlessly in the desert with no shade or water in sight.
Turn to Him.
He will be your guiding light through the pain and hopelessness
if you give Him the chance to be.
His light will never cease.
It can illuminate the darkest of situations,
The darkest of corridors where you find yourself to be utterly defenseless,
And even the darkest corners of your heart.
For in everything, Jesus reigns.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The road to purification is one of tears and desperation.
Tempted we fall. Tempted again we fall. Tempted a third time and we still fall.
But the Lord Almighty brings us to our knees and then to our feet
and he shows us how to walk again.
Because no matter how many times we stumble, fall, and run away.
He will find us and redeem us in His heart and in the eyes of our neighbor.
“Blessed is the man whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.”

-Job 5:17

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arise oh people of the world,
The time has come for your eyes to be opened,
Your ears turned to His voice,
And your wings spread to fly in His countenance for only He can make us soar.
I say arise for the Lord your God is calling to you!
He is standing among us as I speak to you, wishing that your ears would be opened,
To hear His magnificent voice for He speaks of life for all.
Though darkness may claw, and claim, and pull it’s chains,
The Lord’s voice will cleanse the heart of the people and shatter the chains that hold them.
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”

-Isaiah 60:1-3

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For every soft breeze that blows across our faces,
The Lord breathes out.
For every gentle rain that falls,
The Lord’s tears roll down his cheek.
For every sunrise and sunset that paint the skies in wonderful color,
The Lord is smiling down on us.
His love is a never ending downpour of Holy water,
It falls from every inch of the beautiful sky he crafted,
For no matter our mistakes, His love for us will endure.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”

Entrusted to Uphold Her Glory

With every heart that experiences hurt
at the hands of a Christian...
the church's crown begins to slide.

With every heart that experiences forms of judgement
at the hands of a Christian...
the church's purity becomes tainted.

With every heart that experiences inconsistency
at the hands of a Christian...
the church's reputation is marred.

With every heart that experiences hypocrisy
at the hands of a Christian...
the church's brilliance begins to fade.

With every heart that experiences false intimacy
at the hands of a Christian...
the church's honor is lost.

With every heart that experiences control
at the hands of a Christian...
the church's freedom becomes chained.

With every heart that experiences complacency
at the hands of a Christian...
the church's power leaks out.

When every heart that experiences superiority and elitism
at the hands of a Christian...
the church's humility is damaged.

With every heart that experiences subtle manipulation
at the hands of a Christian...
the church's integrity weakens.

With every heart that experiences gossip, slander and defamation,
at the hands of a Christian...
the church's foundation cracks.

With every heart that experiences a lack of humility and repentance
at the hands of a Christian...
the church's devotion dwindles.

With every heart that experiences an unwillingness to be forthright and true
at the hands of a Christian...
the church's glory begins to fade.

With every heart that experiences a lack of faith
at the hands of a Christian...
the church's hope is gone.

We are the "u" in church. We are the heart of who she is.
We can say to ourselves, "I'm not changing... God made me who I am!"
 or we can say,
"G-d, You made me. Change me into who I am."

Love Language

God is love. (1 John 4:8)

Thank you Father, that summed up in "one" word "above all the others"...the essence of Your holiness manifests itself in love.
Increase our love for You and one another.

We love because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19)

Now it's our turn. We, knowing the love of Christ, bear the burden of extending that love...being the first to offer the greatest gift we have to give. Help us to "receive Your love and be filled" that we might have such a love to give away.

While we were still sinners, He died for us. (Romans 5:8)

Your mercy endures forever. You didn't wait for all the world to become perfect or deserving before You loved us. You gave away the one thing that mattered most to You, to love us while we were "broken and imperfect" people in a world desperate for someone to care.

Love is the bond of perfection.(Colossians 3:14)

You know that our trying to perfectly follow the rules is not what will hold together our hearts.
Open the eyes of our hearts to acknowledge that the only thing that is strong enough to hold our hearts together and
bear the weight of the world and the fiery trials that come against us, is love.

Love covers a multitude of sins. (1 Peter 4:8)

As You have covered us, may we cover one another - in love - never exposing one another's vulnerabilities or weaknesses, but in love, covering situations with love, that Your power to breakthrough, contain, heal and restore may be present and operating in the most unlikely but most needed situations.

There is no fear in love, because perfect love drives out fear. (1 John 4:18)

As we love more, we will fear less. As we choose to love, we choose to trust...and as we trust You, we release the power of love itself...the power that is strong enough to deliver from darkness into light ...to overcome the world and it's ways...to live on in eternity and reign with the One who reigns supreme.

...and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Romans 13:9) And above all things have fervent love for one another...(1 Peter 4:8) Abide in faith, hope and love; the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13)

Grateful to have access to Your "undying" love, we give You glory and we say thank You Father for loving us so deeply and completely. May we never forget that above all things, the greatest thing" is love.
May we always move and breath "in" love and "through" love, knowing that if we have everything but are lacking love, we have nothing...but if we have nothing, and yet have love - we have everything.

In Your Son's Most Precious Name We Pray,
Amen
